I make square digital images. Most have 36 million pixels (color squares). The pixels are important to me. I don't try to hide their distinct edges. They're what I work with, like an oil painter's brush strokes. I carefully consider the placement of each of them. Each pixel is a unique and respected entity.

Likewise, reality is made up of parts that never lose their identity. Nothing dies. Everything exists eternally. We're all in the picture.

Eikoni - ee-koh-nee - is Greek for "in the picture."

I like having my pictures on pillows because then you can hug them!
